The idea of encouraging environment friendly activities has been taken seriously by the College authorities in all its endeavours. With the honest intention of promoting environment friendly practices, a small step has been taken in the form of setting up of a robust water harvesting mechanism within the campus. Students are also constantly motivated to adopt environment friendly practices in daily lives. The College takes every possible step to spread awareness among staff and students regading environment - friendly practices.
Some of the measures adopted include -
i) Rain Water Harvesting,
ii) Environment friendly campus by making it plastic free and smoke free,
iii) Regular cleaning of campus,
iv) Regular planting of trees,
v) Use of LED lights,
vi) Placing of sufficient number of Waste Bins to check littering.
In order to understand the efficacy of practices adopted by the college in its effort to promote environment friendly activities and also formulate future goals, the system of Green Audit has been initiated from the session 2019 - 2020.
